Medium: Mixed media with Plaster Compound, cardboard, fabric, house paint, acrylic paint, crackle paste 

This wave mixed media painting was inspired by the surfers' waves at Crescent Bay, California. I was mesmerised and terrified by the sheer strength and the beaty of these giant waves. I envied the surfer's agility and ability to ride the waves, the way they duck dived under the breaking wave was genuinely inspiring. The sunset seen through the wave gives you a warm feeling and the painting gives you a taste of the surfer's life, powerful waves and an incredible sense of adventure. This stunning mixed media painting captures the power and beauty of waves at Crescent Bay, California.
