Seahorse Wall Hung Sculpture Workshop
Join me and create this beautiful Seahorse Sculpture with Powertex Stone Art.
Approximately 40cm tall.
I will be guiding you how to take a wooden base and turn it into this beautiful sculpture using Powertex and Stone Art Clay. You will make your own stone art clay and create decorations and embellishments to attach to your seahorse. Finally you will be colouring the seahorse using Powertex pigments and varnish to give it the wow factor.
Once you have allowed this to fully dry inside you can display it outside as Powertex is weather resistant.
Half Day 10:00am to 1:00pm
Minimum of 3 participants per session
Maximum of 6 participants per session.
Workshops will restart in September. Once you have booked the session I will contact you to arrange a suitable day for September.
If you are booking more than 3 people per session or booking more than 3 sessions a discount of 10% will be added at check out!!

I attended Aferdita's workshop with 5 friends last Friday. What an amazing day. Aferdita is extremely patient and worked through each stage of the process methodically explaining how and why we mixed the Powertex clay, how to lay the clay on the sea horse wooden plaque and how to shape and mould the tummy. Instructions were clear and precise and Aferdita helped anyone who was struggling. She then showed us how to embellish, press patterns into the clay using various card, moulds, cutting dies, shells etc. It opened up a whole new world of craft that can be completed in one day. Thoroughly recommend this course whether doing it alone or with friends it is therapeutic and enjoyable and amazing results with an excellent teacher.
