Penguin Sculpture/ Candle Holder

Create a Penguin Candle Holder Sculpture  

Upcoming workshop is on 4th of April 9am - 5pm 

This project can be either done on one long day session or two sessions. 

Unleash Your Creativity with Powertex!

• Discover the magic of Powertex fabric hardener and stone clay 
• Create a stunning flamingo sculpture (approximately 70 cm tall)
• Relax and learn with Aferdita, a certified Powertex tutor guiding you through each step.
• Learn about this innovative medium and its sculpting potential

• Project will be done in stages over 3 sessions (approximately 5-6 hours) and in a relaxed atmosphere.
  

  Session one (approximately 4 hours)

• Create the armature for the  body with wire, foil and masking tape. You will be guided step by step
  
• Learn to make Stone Art Clay and sculpt to add body to the penguin

          Session two (Approximately 1.5 hour)

• Paint the penguin to add the sparkle and glitz and the wow factor.
  
• Small groups of up to 4 people (adults). Beginners are welcome and you will be guided every step of the way 

• Project will be done in stages over one long session or in two sessions (1st 4 hours where armature and body are built fully, and the second session painting only)
• All materials, coffee / tea and biscuits will be provided. Bring your own packed lunch 
• Price: £90 per person, all materials provided
• The Penguin Candle holder can only be used with battery powered candles.
