Whispers of Air Collection

Whispers of the Air is a series of five abstract paintings that mark the end of a very personal chapter in my creative journey.

The process of making them came after a year full of doubts, fears, and heavy bouts of imposter syndrome. There were moments when I truly questioned my voice and my place as an artist. Reaching this point feels like a weight has finally lifted off my shoulders.

Without really planning it, this series became much lighter and brighter in colour than Kindness of the Earth and Heat and Haze. It just happened naturally—and that’s where the title Whispers of the Air came from.

These works gave me space to breathe. They brought with them a sense of relief and quiet grounding, as if I could finally exhale.

Made with Powertex, acrylics, and oils, they layer heavy texture with muted tones and soft whites. Each one carries a calm, airy stillness—a feeling of emotional ease.
