Embracing Autumn:
An Invitation to My Open Studio
Good evening, friends!
As we dive into the beautiful embrace of autumn, I hope you’re all enjoying the stunning array of colors—those vibrant reds, oranges, and countless combinations that nature so effortlessly creates. Truly, nature is the best artist, showcasing its brilliance in every season. Sometimes, I find myself questioning my own artistic pursuits. How can I possibly compete with the breathtaking beauty of the world around us?
But then I remember moments like the one when a wonderful daughter purchased one of my paintings for her mum, who was too unwell to experience the beauty of nature firsthand. That painting brought joy to their home, reminding me why I create. It's not just for myself, though my own wellbeing plays a significant role, but for all of you who find solace and inspiration in my work.
Over the past few years, I’ve found that my paintings often reflect my feelings and the events occurring around me. Some pieces have stirred emotions within me that I struggled to express fully. This has led me to explore the power of words alongside my art, creating a deeper connection with both mediums.
I am thrilled to announce my very first Open Studio at my home studio! I will be joined by my friend and amazing photographer Besnik Fine Art Prints by Biko.
You are warmly invited to join me:

I would love for you to come by, see my work up close, and learn about the inspiration and process behind each piece. Let’s share our thoughts on life, art, and everything in between.
On my walk toward Bromley today, I stumbled upon a few wilted sunflowers that reminded me of my sunflower series. They sparked memories of a poem I wrote during that time, which I’d love to share with you:
A Walk in the Sunflower Field
Walking through a sunflower field
I leaned my head on your chest,
I looked at the sky
I felt your heart beat.
I wished the flowers to keep flowering
I wanted the sun always to shine
I wished it always to stay day
Never to become dark
Never to be night.
Seeing our kids play hide and seek
It made my heart grow with joy
And it put a tear on my cheek
It was a day to remember
Never to forget
The sunflowers towering over us
Reaching for the sky
Tall and strong just like us.
